A Thai Buddhist temple we visited our first day in Singapore. One of the ladies there told Daniel Larios to spin his fortune, what he didn't realize was he was supposed to pay when he did. She wasn't too pleased. We all got a good laugh and a valuable lesson from the experience.
Something I wasn't expecting was to have to take off my shoes even though it was a public area. Out of respect, everyone must take off their shoes before entering any of the temples or mosques and walk barefoot. Next time I might bring socks along with me.
